What happens to a printed allergy summary after disconnecting?
Understand why ending an AllergyFolio session or revoking a connection does not update or erase paper copies and saved PDFs.
A printout is a separate object
The page on screen is part of a temporary record session. A paper printout or saved PDF is a separate copy created through the browser. Once produced, it does not depend on the session remaining open to be readable.
Disconnecting ends access, not the life of a copy
Ending a local session removes that session’s access in the application. Managing or revoking authorized sharing acts on the connection. Neither action can reach a sheet of paper or automatically remove a file you saved elsewhere.
Keep your copies understandable
Before relying on a saved summary, consider when you created it and whether the source information may have changed. If you replace an old copy, manage the old paper or file yourself. The app does not offer a remote document update or deletion mechanism.
Make a deliberate decision to export
The print control is an explicit action, which gives you a moment to review what will leave the temporary workspace. Use the preview to confirm whether medication names are included and whether the source details remain readable. Avoid placing personal health information in public issue trackers when asking about a formatting problem.
Connection controls and the paper boundary
FinchNode is the connection provider used by AllergyFolio’s source implementation. The sharing controls apply to that authorized access. AllergyFolio’s print feature creates a different kind of object: a personal copy whose handling remains with its recipient.

Will a saved PDF change when the source record changes?
No. A saved PDF is a snapshot of the page when you printed it.
Can the site erase a copy I already printed?
No. Paper and separately saved files are outside the site’s session controls.
